Quite a number of stipends, scholarships, free-studentships and half-free studentships are granted to meritorious students in terms of the endowments and as per extant government regulations.
There is a Students’ Aid Fund to help poor and needy students. The college authority is committed to identify all financial resources and make them available to deserving students of all categories. The scholarships are aimed at promoting quality education among the students.

This is a newly created fund in the year 2006 with the objective of awarding scholarships to meritorious and needy deserving students of UG Physics Honours every year with the donation received from Mr. D. Basu, an ex-student of this College.
This is a new prize awarded to the examinees from this College securing highest marks in Political Science in the Final examination in Degree Course. The fund was created in the year 2009 with the donation received from the family of Sri Prasanto Kumar Ghosh.
This is a new prize awarded to the examinees from this College securing highest marks in Physiology, Mathematics and Chemistry separately in the UG Final Semester examination. The fund was created in the year 2025 with the donation received from the family member of Sri UN Brahmachari.
Prizes / stipends are awarded on the basis of the result of UG Honours Program Final Examination to the examinees from the College securing the highest marks in each subject, with a minimum of 60% marks for Science subjects and 50% marks for Arts and Commerce subjects in the University UG Honours Program Final Examination.
Prize is awarded to the student securing the highest marks in the Final Year internal examination for each Honours subject.
